Just because...

Look how big she is getting! She went to the pediatrician this week because she was getting sick and they weighed her while she was there. 37 pounds! We tried to get a height on her, but she wasn't feeling well, so she didn't stand up straight. But, it looks like she is at least 40 inches tall! And she is only 2 1/2! Amazing. She and Jose are both on antibiotics this week. Luckily. it doesn't appear to be anything serious with either of them. Just upper respiratory infections that the meds should knock out. I'm trying to take care of them and keep my distance at the same time. An illness would not be fun for me at 6 months pregnant.

We are keeping our eyes on Ike. Jose's family is in the path. Jose talked to them tonight and offered them our home if they decided to head north, but it looks like they will ride it out. They've been through hurricanes before, so I have no doubt they are prepared and will fare just fine.
